Arf, EA games and Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars. It be some unnaturally good stuff. Arr. It's absolutely amazing. Certainly one to be buying. The graphics are amazing (using the same SAGE engine powering the Battle for Middle Earth game, and it's sequel, and the Command and Conquer: Generals games besides other things). But...they've handled the SAGE engine nicely. It actually seems to run smoother than it did on Generals or BFME. And it's considerably prettier. The best part of it all, is that its stylistically very similar to Red Alert. It feels similar. Sometimes you even forget you're playing 3d, it actually feels so similar. Something to do with the camera angle. And the Ion Cannon...oh...the Ion Cannon... Alot of the gameplay mechanics are retained from Red Alert too. In fact, in so many ways, it's just Red Alert, prettier. And the plot is meant to tie in how Tiberium ended up on the planet, and fill in some huge blanks in the storyline. Sounds good, definately one to be buying.
